Luvlog Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, how Luvlog handles information. The first release has no account system, advertising, or third-party analytics. User content stays on the user’s own device by default.

01

Scope and operator

This policy applies to the Luvlog iOS app and myluvlog.cn. Luvlog is operated by 贺兆毅. “We” means the Luvlog operator, and “you” means an individual using Luvlog.

The website provides product, legal, copyright, and support information. It currently has no registration, sign-in, comments, content uploads, or online sync.

02

Local-first design and data we do not collect

The first release has no user accounts and no developer server that receives user content. Profiles, journals, events, timelines, and media are processed and stored locally by default and are not uploaded to a Luvlog server.

  • We do not require a phone number, legal name, contacts, precise location, or identity document.
  • We do not integrate advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.
  • “Data Not Collected” on the App Store means data is not transmitted off the device and collected by the developer or partners; on-device processing is not developer collection.
03

Information processed on your device

To provide recording, display, reminders, backup, and restore, Luvlog may process the following on your device:

  • Names, avatars, notes, and preferences you enter;
  • Archives, events, materials, journals, timelines, tags, dates, and notes you create;
  • Photos, video, and audio selected from Photos or Files or created with the camera or microphone;
  • Local notification times, titles, and identifiers;
  • Local backup files and data used during restore;
  • Purchase, subscription, expiration, revocation, and offer-eligibility status returned by Apple StoreKit and used locally to determine Luvlog Pro entitlement.
04

System permissions

Luvlog requests a permission only when a related feature needs it. You may change permissions in iOS Settings at any time; denying a permission affects only the related feature.

  • Photos: select or save images and video. With limited access, only items you authorize are available.
  • Camera: capture a photo or video when you choose to do so.
  • Microphone: record audio or video with sound when you choose to do so.
  • Notifications: schedule local reminders you configure. We do not receive notification content.
  • Files: import or export backups and media through Apple’s system picker.
05

Apple services and on-device intelligence

Luvlog uses Apple frameworks for product loading, trial-eligibility checks, purchases, renewals, cancellation, restoration, Photos, Files, notifications, camera, and audio. App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled through the user’s Apple Account. We do not receive complete payment card details. Apple may process device, transaction, or diagnostic information under its own privacy policy.

Foreground or subject extraction uses Apple Vision on the device. The image is not uploaded to a Luvlog server for this processing.

If you enable iCloud Photos or iCloud device backup, Apple may sync photos or app data according to your system settings. This is controlled by Apple and is not a Luvlog-operated cloud-sync service.

06

Backup, import, and remote links in legacy data

You may export Luvlog data to a local JSON backup and save, transfer, or restore it using Apple system features. You control the exported file. Keep it secure and do not share it with people you do not trust. Manual export is not Luvlog cloud sync.

For compatibility, legacy data you choose to import may contain media links beginning with http or https. When the item is displayed, Luvlog may request that third-party address. The third party may receive ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, and basic device request metadata. Luvlog does not send your other records to that third party. Remove the item or avoid importing remote links if you do not want the request to occur.

07

Sharing, transfer, and disclosure

We do not currently share, transfer, or publicly disclose your app content. Exceptions may apply when you actively use a system share feature, Apple processes data needed for an App Store purchase, disclosure is legally required, or action is necessary to protect lawful rights and safety.

08

Retention, deletion, and security

Local data remains until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or erase device data. Uninstalling normally removes the app container, but it does not automatically remove exported backups, copies in Photos, iCloud data, or files stored elsewhere.

iOS sandboxing and permission controls help protect local data, but no storage method is completely secure. Use a device passcode and protect backups. Uninstalling, device damage, reset, or failed backups may cause unrecoverable loss.

09

Your choices and rights

  • View, edit, and delete content in the app;
  • Withdraw Photos, camera, microphone, or notification access in iOS Settings;
  • Export a local backup and restore it in a supported version;
  • Delete local information by removing items, clearing app data, or uninstalling;
  • Contact us about privacy. Because there is no account or developer content server, we normally cannot retrieve or restore your local records from a server.
10

Children

Luvlog is not designed specifically for children and contains no child-directed advertising or public social features. A child under 14 should use Luvlog only after a guardian has reviewed and agreed to this policy. A guardian may delete local content or uninstall the app and may contact us with concerns.

11

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when features, permissions, practices, or legal requirements change. Important changes will be communicated through the website, in-app pages, or release notes as appropriate. The revised policy applies from the stated effective date.
